SMHI
The smhi
integration adds support for the SMHI.se web service as a source for meteorological data for your location.
There is currently support for the following device types within Home Assistant:
- Weather
Configuration
Adding SMHI to your Home Assistant instance can be done via the user interface, by using this My button:
If the above My button doesn’t work, you can also perform the following steps manually:

Browse to your Home Assistant instance.

In the sidebar click on Settings.

From the configuration menu select: Devices & Services.

In the bottom right, click on the Add Integration button.

From the list, search and select “SMHI”.

Follow the instruction on screen to complete the set up.
The SMHI weather service is free under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0, international license. Weather data will be pulled once every 30 minutes.
Only location close to Sweden can be added. See SMHI.se area for more details what locations are supported.
