Digital Loggers
Support for devices by Digital Loggers in Home Assistant is provided by the Belkin WeMo integration.
Digital Loggers devices are either rebranded devices or devices that share a common communication protocol, making it possible to use them with the Belkin WeMo integration.
Configuration
Adding Digital Loggers to your Home Assistant instance can be done via the user interface, by using this My button:
Digital Loggers can be auto-discovered by Home Assistant. If an instance was found, it will be shown as “Discovered”, which you can select to set it up right away.
If there wasn’t any discovered automatically, don’t worry! You can set up a manual integration entry:
-
Browse to your Home Assistant instance.
-
In the sidebar click on Settings.
-
From the configuration menu select: Devices & Services.
-
In the bottom right, click on the Add Integration button.
-
From the list, search and select “Digital Loggers”.
-
Follow the instruction on screen to complete the set up.
Usage information
For more documentation on how to use Digital Loggers in Home Assistant, please refer to the Belkin WeMo integration documentation page.
The only tested working model is the Pro Switch.
Supported Digital Loggers models emulate the WeMo protocol but this is not automatically enabled. To enable this, find the IP address of your device and log in. Click on External APIs, check the box to allow CoAP, and then click submit.
