Gree Climate
The Gree integration allows you to control a Gree Smart HVAC in Home Assistant.
There is currently support for the following device types within Home Assistant:
Configuration
Adding Gree Climate to your Home Assistant instance can be done via the user interface, by using this My button:
If the above My button doesn’t work, you can also perform the following steps manually:

Browse to your Home Assistant instance.

In the sidebar click on Settings.

From the configuration menu select: Devices & Services.

In the bottom right, click on the Add Integration button.

From the list, search and select “Gree Climate”.

Follow the instruction on screen to complete the set up.
Supported models
Any Gree Smart device working with the Gree+ app should be supported, including non-Gree branded devices such some sold by:
- Trane
- Innova
- Cooper & Hunter
- Proklima
- Tadiran
- Heiwa
Climate
The gree
climate platform integrates Gree HVAC systems into Home Assistant, enabling control of setting the following parameters:
Switch
Gree devices expose multiple switches to control various features:
- Light Panel, turns the front panel light on/off.
- Quiet Mode, enables/disables the quiet mode feature.
- Xtra Fan, enables/disables extra fan mode to remove help moisture from coils.
