The Soundavo WS66i 6-Zone Amplifier integration allows you to control the Soundavo Whole-Home Audio Amplifier via the local network. This amplifier is an upgrade of the amplifier sold by Monoprice that adds 2 built-in wireless streamers and an Ethernet port for control over LAN.
Adding Soundavo WS66i 6-Zone Amplifier to your Home Assistant instance can be done via the user interface, by using this My button:
If the above My button doesn’t work, you can also perform the following steps manually:
Browse to your Home Assistant instance.
In the sidebar click on Settings.
From the configuration menu select: Devices & Services.
In the bottom right, click on the Add Integration button.
From the list, search and select “Soundavo WS66i 6-Zone Amplifier”.
Follow the instruction on screen to complete the set up.
Enter the IP Address of the WS66i amplifier when prompted to connect to the device and hit submit. It will detect the number of connected amplifiers and present each zone as an entity.
- 1 Amplifier: Zones 11..16
- 2 Amplifiers: Zones 11..16, Zones 21..26
- 3 Amplifiers: Zones 11..16, Zones 21..26, Zones 31..36
Once detected, you can add them to an area.
You can configure source names by hitting the CONFIGURE button in the integration card.
