The epson platform allows you to control a Epson projector from Home Assistant.


Adding Epson to your Home Assistant instance can be done via the user interface, by taking the following steps:

  • Browse to your Home Assistant instance.

  • In the sidebar click on Configuration.

  • From the configuration menu select: Integrations.

  • In the bottom right, click on the Add Integration button.

  • From the list, search and select “Epson”.

  • Follow the instruction on screen to complete the set up.

After completing, the Epson integration will be immediately available for use.

  • mute/unmute audio
  • send next/previous track

  • Epson projectors supporting ESC/VP21 protocol.

To make this module work you need to connect your projector to your LAN. The best is to use iProjection app by Epson to test if it is working.
